John Boyd
Principal Project Officer, Prevention, Crime and Misconduct Commission
John Boyd joined Queensland’s former Criminal Justice Commission (CJC, now the CMC) in 1993 soon after its creation and helped establish the corruption prevention advisory program to assist public sector units identify and prevent corruption.
He has over 30 years experience in areas, such as operational audit, management development, human resource management, ethics promotion and corruption prevention. After many years as the CMC’s Corruption Prevention Manager, he converted to a part-time role and has since focused on the CMC’s role in some key prevention projects.
Mr Boyd is a Fellow of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Fellow of the International Institute of Public Ethics (IIPE) and a Registered Psychologist. He was a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors’ International Ethics Committee from 2002 to 2007. He has also conducted training in anti-corruption strategies for the central public sector agencies of South Africa and Morocco. |
